    Get LinkedIn to the UK Social Housing Practitioners Group

    LinkedIn.com is a website for professional networking. Unlike some other such sites LinkedIn has greater control to prevent spamming. On the site there are several groups established to support those in the UK public services and those organisations servicing the public sector.

    In particular the UK Social Housing Practitioners Group is primarily aimed at those working in the social housing sector and has a target membership of 75% practitioners.

    We have seen other forums for those working in the sector but we believe the UK Social Housing Practitioners group on LinkedIn has a lot to offer with news and discussion in addition to the benefits of joining the LinkedIn community generally. Membership is growing and there is currently over 30 members including several chief executives, directors and managers as well as board members and staff working on the front line.
