Objectivity
is our key strength. We can assist you to take a fresh look
at your organisation and its goals. We can evaluate the mechanisms
and structures in place to achieve
these goals. We work with local authorities and housing associations
with as few as twenty or so properties through to associations
with over 10,000 properties. We have identified elements
of good practice that can benefit clients, as well as those where
significant cost savings can be realised, and elements requiring
improvement, often to the surprise of senior managers within the
client organisation. With
an analytical approach we are able to assist in the transformation
of good organisations into excellent ones geared up to meet the
demands placed on them by government, regulators and customers. We
work with other quality service providers and we are able to provide
a broad range of services to those working in this demanding sector. Our
work with HouseMark has taken us to some of the largest Housing
Associations operating in and around the capital where we have undertaken
performance validation work as an Associate. In addition we
have undertaken a number of consultancy projects as an Associate
to HouseMark. We
recently completed an eleven month contract providing interim management to a significant housing association
in the south as it prepared to form a group structure with two other
organisations. Work included undertaking a review of the
Corporate plan and development of marketing, communications
and promotion strategies for the association, the new group and the development consortium of which it is a partner.
Current
business includes working with an Association that is pursuing
a
transfer of engagements implementing a review of void procedures
for a large south coast local authority and work with a consortium
preparing a submission for a pfi project. In August
we completed the analysis of the performance of a repairs and
maintenance supplier for a Dorset association and produced
a comprehensive action plan to address the issues identified. In
July we completed a transfer of engagements for an association in
Sussex. We continue
to operate as lead consultant to the Test Valley Rural Housing Association.
